Ferris® Introduces Exclusive New Line of Wolf Wax™

The Ferris Division of The Kindt-Collins Co. and world-renowned jewelry designer and educator Kate Wolf, have recently developed and are currently marketing a new line of innovative waxes.

Formulated jointly by Ms. Wolf and the Ferris research laboratory, the new line of Wolf Wax™ will feature proprietary formulas for Carving Wax in 5 popular ring tube sizes, blocks, slices, round bars, Wolf’s Build-Up/Repair Wax, Wolf’s Touch-Up Wax, Wolf’s Relief Wax and Wolf’s Wicked Sticky Wax. Additional Wolf Wax products are expected to follow this initial product launch.

In developing this new line of waxes, Ms. Wolf commented….”I’ve always wanted a carving wax that looks like metal and is easy to read (medium tone to show highlights and in colors that emphasize the beauty of gemstones). So I teamed up with my favorite wax manufacturer – Ferris, to make this exclusive new line of silver and gold-toned designer waxes.”

Ms. Wolf has been carving wax and making jewelry for 25 years. She is currently launching Wolf Tools…a line of innovative high quality, wax carving and jewelry tools. Each year she also conducts numerous workshops on the newest techniques and trends in wax carving and demonstrates wax carving techniques at major trade shows. Over the years, Kate has also made models for many notable companies including…Monet, Lenox Collections, L.L. Bean, Disney and QVC. She is a master model maker and held the post of Director of Production for the Jewelry Division of the Franklin Mint.
